Apprenticeship

This program is designed for individuals who wish to complete their hairdressing training in a salon environment under the sponsorship of a licensed professional. The classroom component provides essential theoretical knowledge, while all practical training is completed under the guidance of the apprentice’s salon sponsor.

Must be at least 16 years old
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Upon Successful Completion

Students who successfully finish the apprenticeship program will:

Complete all required training hours (200 Related Instruction Hours)
Pass the final written examination
Receive additional certifications, including:
- Infection Control Certification
- Barbicide Certification
- Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Awareness Certification
